Dashcam footage captured the moment a group of migrants in the French port city of Calais attempted to sneak on a truck headed to the United Kingdom, only to find the truck already occupied — by a caged polar bear.
Themigrants didn’t seem to mind sharing a ride with the caged apex predator and jumped on board. Police, however, arrested them moments later and the polar bear was able to continue on its journey across the English Channel:
The bear, named Nissan, was born in a zoo in Moscow and will be one of the stars of a new arctic exhibit at theYorkshire Wildlife Park.
