Trump declares that Kasich ‘should not be allowed’ to run in Ohio
Well, there you have it. Mr. Trump has declared Gov. John Kasich ineligible to run in Ohio by virtue of the possibility of him not being on the ballot in Pennsylvania.
“A decision on the matter has yet to be reported, but the case itself presents a potential roadblock for Kasich’s campaign. The two-term governor’s path to the GOP nomination, or at the very least a contested convention, would require him to pull off a victory next Tuesday in his home state and in several states thereafter, including Pennsylvania.”
A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll was released this morning showing Kasich with a six-point lead over Trump in the Buckeye State.
