A correction has been issued:

Correction: Presbyterian workers wore protective gear, but not hazmat gear, for 2 days while treating #Ebola patient http://t.co/tWiXEqXSCl

— Dallas Morning News (@dallasnews) October 15, 2014

So the nurses were wearing protective gear — just not hazmat suits.

Unfortunately, many people (including quite a few “real reporters” from the MSM) tweeted the incorrect version of the story:

Dallas hospital employees apparently treated Duncan for TWO DAYS without protective gear. http://t.co/ze6YH5PZMX

This Dallas News reporter did the right thing and noted the correction:

.@dallasnews just issued correction on that story about protective gear usage. Hospital workers didn't wear hazmat for 2 days, that is.

— Reese Dunklin (@ReeseDunklin) October 15, 2014

Will the others do so as well?

Here’s the most recent tweet from ThinkProgress:

UPDATE: Dallas health care workers didn't wear protective gear for 2 days while treating Ebola patient http://t.co/yS6O5hlFZK

— ThinkProgress (@thinkprogress) October 15, 2014

Sigh.
